Context
When Strategy Moves Slower than the World
In an era where intelligence is abundant but coherence is scarce, GravityOne.ai faced constraints while onboarding customers.
They had access to vast data, expert consultants, and sophisticated frameworks, yet strategy execution stalled for months before it even began. Onboarding a new strategic initiative took up to 90 days, not because of technical constraints, but because strategy itself had become fragmented, manual, and siloed.
This wasn't just a tooling problem. It was consulting inertia - a system where insight existed, but action lagged.
The Problem
Why Enterprise Strategy Was Breaking Down
The Company relied on manual onboarding workflows, spreadsheets, slide decks, and consultant-led coordination to kick off strategic programs.
90 days
Onboarding delays
5+
Disconnected systems
40%
Efficiency loss
Heavy
Consultant dependency
What went wrong?
90-day onboarding delays from first contact to project kickoff
5+ disconnected systems used across departments
40% efficiency loss due to manual data entry and coordination
Heavy dependence on consultants for alignment and interpretation
Root causes we uncovered
Stakeholder misalignment
Multiple departments working in silos
Fragmented information
No single source of truth
Process friction, not tech debt
The systems existed, but didn't talk to each other
Static strategy artifacts
PowerPoint strategies that aged the moment they were created
Strategy failed not because leaders lacked intelligence, but because intelligence couldn't be orchestrated into action.
The Hero
Enterprise Leaders & Strategy Teams
Our heroes weren't "users" in the traditional sense. They were:
Executives
need unified leadership view
Real-time strategic overview across the enterprise
Strategy practitioners
need execution clarity
Translating vision into actionable initiatives
Analysts & field teams
need contextual intelligence
Data with meaning, not just dashboards
These teams didn't need more dashboards. They needed clarity, alignment, and momentum.
Research & Discovery
Understanding the Challenge
Research Approach
1
Conducted 5+ stakeholder interviews across leadership, strategy, and operations
2
Audited existing onboarding workflows end-to-end
3
Mapped current systems, registers, and data flows
4
Identified coordination bottlenecks and duplication points
Key Insights
Onboarding delays were organizational, not technical
Each department optimized locally, breaking enterprise-wide alignment
Strategy knowledge lived in people's heads or consultant decks
No living model connected strategy, execution, governance, and performance

Key Learnings
What We Learned
Process Beats Technology
The biggest challenges weren't technical. Instead they were organizational. Designing for alignment and flow mattered more than feature depth.
Strategy Is a Social System
Early and continuous stakeholder engagement was essential for adoption. Strategy fails when people don't see themselves in it.
Start Simple, Iterate Fast
Launching with core orchestration capabilities allowed real value early, and created momentum for continuous improvement.
